Technical Support Engineer – Multiple Specializations

About the role

Veeam, a leader in data resilience and security, is expanding its Technical Support team in Costa Rica. The company seeks engineers to provide expert assistance for backup, recovery and data protection across virtualization, storage, cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot backup, replication and restore issues in virtualized platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Support object‑storage solutions (S3‑compatible, on‑prem and cloud) and resolve performance or connectivity problems.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents in public‑cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), including networking, permissions and API‑related errors.
• Assist customers with Microsoft 365 data protection, covering Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Analyze logs, identify root causes and collaborate with product teams to drive solutions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication skills in English.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts.
