Supply Chain Analyst – Inventory Control

About the role

The Inventory Control Analyst supports daily operational activities for AWS infrastructure supply chain operations. The role ensures accurate inventory records, resolves operational issues, and helps maintain efficient processes across data‑center hubs and rack‑integrator partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and execute daily allocation processes.
• Review and resolve invoices on hold, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Monitor and manage inventory holds and release processes.
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) following AWS approval workflows.
• Prepare executive summaries and status updates for business forums.
• Track and report key inventory metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory processes and procedures.
• Support business reviews with data‑driven insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Related studies in Business Administration, Logistics, or Accounting.
• 1‑2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with inventory management systems and databases.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends or discrepancies.
