STEM Data Annotator – Remote (up to $40/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a STEM Data Annotator to work remotely on a contract basis. You will apply your subject‑matter expertise to analyze multimedia content, create high‑quality questions, and ensure accurate tagging for our educational platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze images and videos to extract key STEM concepts and detailed insights.
• Develop complex, high‑quality questions that require deep subject‑matter knowledge.
• Accurately categorize and tag content to support efficient workflow and expert routing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain content quality and consistency.
• Use data analysis and literature review to inform content development.
• Apply innovative instructional methods and educational technologies.
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in a STEM discipline.
• Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proven collaboration and project leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with educational technology platforms and digital tools.
