Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to act as the technical authority for a portfolio of digital products built on a shared TypeScript/Node.js stack and AWS platform. You will guide architecture decisions, lead security and resilience initiatives, and ensure consistent technical direction across multiple delivery pods.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and document the current architecture across the product portfolio, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Validate architecture decisions to ensure alignment with portfolio‑wide standards.
• Own and drive the security remediation backlog, covering authentication, authorization, injection risks, secrets handling, and endpoint exposure.
• Lead resilience hardening by defining and rolling out patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, dead‑letter queues, and health checks.
• Implement cloud account separation and restrict non‑production access to reduce blast radius.
• Provide technical oversight for infrastructure‑as‑code practices and promote secure Terraform patterns.
• Guide CI/CD improvements with security scanning and delivery‑metrics instrumentation.
• Advise on event‑streaming reliability patterns for Kafka‑based consumer services.
• Run architecture walkthroughs during onboarding and act as the primary technical escalation point.
• Communicate trade‑offs clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders and mentor pod leads.

Required profile

• 2+ years of solution architecture experience in distributed systems on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with Content Management Systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership across multiple delivery teams.
• Advanced cloud security knowledge (IAM, secrets management, vulnerability remediation).
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency (B2) and excellent communication skills.
