Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to act as the technical authority for a portfolio of digital products built on a shared TypeScript/Node.js stack and AWS. You will guide architecture governance, security remediation, and resilience hardening while aligning engineering teams and stakeholders on technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and document current architecture across the product portfolio, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.
• Validate architecture decisions from delivery pods to ensure consistency with shared standards.
• Own and drive the security remediation backlog across services and platforms.
• Lead resilience hardening by defining and validating reliability patterns and operational safeguards.
• Drive cloud account separation and restrict non‑production environment access.
• Provide technical oversight for infrastructure‑as‑code practices and consolidation across pods.
• Guide platform initiatives such as pipeline security scanning and operational metrics foundations.
• Advise on event‑streaming reliability patterns for Kafka‑based consumer services.
• Run architecture walkthroughs during onboarding and act as the primary technical escalation point.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of solution architecture experience with distributed systems.
• Strong stakeholder leadership skills to align engineering and non‑technical partners on trade‑offs.
• Proven project ownership driving cross‑team initiatives and technical governance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1).

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – including ECS, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform.
• Kafka platforms (e.g., Confluent Kafka) and event‑driven architecture.
• Content Management Systems.
• Security engineering – authentication, authorization, secrets management, vulnerability remediation.
• Resilience engineering – retries, circuit breakers, DLQs, health checks.
• Observability tooling such as Datadog.
