Senior Supply Chain Representative

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Representative to manage inbound and outbound freight, ensure trade compliance, and support inventory management for its Costa Rica operations. The role combines logistics coordination, customs oversight, and reporting to maintain efficient supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all inbound and outbound freight with 3rd‑party carriers, interfacing with supply chain and warehouse teams.
• Organize expedites, optimize transportation modes, and maintain logistics policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory routines including cycle counts, ABC analysis, monthly inventory reporting, quarterly E&O reports, and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Lead Costa Rica duty and trade compliance activities, maintain the Taric Code list, and liaise with customs brokers.
• Validate and approve freight invoices, process JDE transactions, and resolve claim disputes.
• Develop continuous‑improvement processes with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Support new product development (NPD) freight requirements and establish new lanes and rates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and train staff on customs and freight procedures.
• Strong analytical skills for inventory and reporting activities.
• Excellent coordination with internal and external partners.
