Senior Project Leader / Technical Lead – TCO

About the role

The Technical Lead – TCO Engineering is a core member of Baxter’s Technical Cost Out (TCO) team. You will drive material and component cost reduction, improve supply resilience and enhance margins through technical analysis, specification optimization and multi‑functional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate cost‑reduction opportunities across materials, components and processes at ITP sites.
• Perform structured should‑cost, clean‑sheet and teardown analyses to support category strategies.
• Lead multi‑functional technical teams through project planning, execution, validation and change control.
• Coordinate sample builds, trials and testing, and manage cut‑in planning for new specifications.
• Partner with Procurement, R&D, Quality, Operations, Strategy and Finance to align on cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience leading cross‑functional technical projects.
• Proven ability to deliver cost‑out initiatives while maintaining product performance and regulatory compliance.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal functions and external suppliers.
