Senior Manager, Procurement – Global Shared Services

About the role

Amazon’s Global Procurement Organization is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Procurement Shared Services function from Costa Rica. Reporting to the Head of GPCS AMER, you will own strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of core Source-to-Pay operations across LATAM and the broader AMER region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives for supplier onboarding, catalogue management, Delphi ordering, inventory management, blanket purchase order creation, invoice‑on‑hold resolution, and purchase requisition compliance.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of procurement professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, GPO category pillars, and suppliers to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Define, measure, and report KPIs; analyze data and benchmark against industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon’s global spend and procurement policies and maintain data integrity.
• Partner with procurement technology teams to drive automation, innovation, and transformation of processes.
• Create and maintain process documentation and promote best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and operational excellence in procurement or related functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a multinational environment.
