Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

The Senior Credit Analyst will evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers for Baxter Healthcare. This role ensures that credit limits and terms are appropriately set and that orders on hold are released in line with company policies, supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assess creditworthiness of new customers using the Credit Integration Solution and C2C Technology toolset.
• Monitor and reassess credit limits for existing customers, applying market indicators and alerts.
• Set up, manage, and adjust credit limits within the assigned region.
• Oversee the automated credit review process and intervene manually when approvals are required.
• Process online credit applications and release orders on hold based on predefined automation rules.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Commercial teams on customer credit issues.
• Manage bank guarantees, letters of credit, cash collateral, and netting agreements as applicable.
• Partner with Credit Team Lead and Global Process Owner to standardize and improve credit risk management globally.
• Stay updated on global credit methodologies, trends, and technology advancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience evaluating customer creditworthiness and managing credit limits.
• Familiarity with Credit Integration Solution and C2C Technology tools.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Accounts Receivable and Sales.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
