About the role
The Renewals Specialist ensures a smooth renewal experience for subscription‑based services, protecting recurring revenue and driving customer retention. You will manage renewal timelines, generate accurate quotes, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to secure contract extensions and identify growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned renewal pipelines and execute renewals on schedule.
- Track contract milestones and initiate proactive renewal planning.
- Analyze customer consumption trends to provide data‑driven renewal recommendations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Operations to align renewal strategies.
- Identify upselling and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Generate renewal quotes, validate pricing, and address renewal‑related inquiries.
- Support retention planning, risk identification, and escalation handling.
- Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to enhance renewal efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation, forecasts, and provide a high‑touch customer experience throughout the renewal lifecycle.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in renewals, deal desk, sales, or customer success.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret usage and consumption data.
- Detail‑oriented with disciplined execution.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
