Remote Privacy Annotation Specialist (Paralegal)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Privacy Annotation Specialist with a strong legal background to review and label sensitive documents. The role focuses on identifying Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and ensuring data integrity for privacy and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate legal documents, highlighting PII and confidential content.
• Apply contract review and eDiscovery expertise to produce high‑quality data labels.
• Validate OCR outputs to maintain accuracy in investigation workflows.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal‑technology teams to meet governance standards.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks and audits on document batches.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
• Deep understanding of PII and data‑privacy regulations.
• Experience as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
• Proven experience handling sensitive data in high‑stakes environments.
