Quality Assistant

About the role

Reckitt is looking for a proactive Quality Assistant to join its R&D team in Escazu, San José. You will support the development and launch of high‑quality hygiene, health and nutrition products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support quality activities from concept through execution, ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead and coordinate quality improvement projects, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and records to demonstrate compliance and product safety.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and challenge the status quo.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in an R&D environment within a GMP‑regulated setting.
• Strong project‑management experience with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Independent, self‑starting attitude with resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to lead, motivate and work collaboratively.
