Production Supervisor – 6‑Month Temporary Role

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Production Supervisor for a six‑month temporary assignment. You will coordinate all manufacturing activities within assigned production cells, ensuring quality, safety, and on‑time delivery while supporting employee development and payroll processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing activities for assigned production cells and develop performance metrics.
• Coach, train, and appraise Cell Leaders and shift personnel; assist with hiring and onboarding.
• Handle employee relations in partnership with HR and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee quality, cost, and schedule targets to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance with technicians and engineers.
• Run production equipment, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
• Administer payroll for production staff using Kronos and resolve first‑level salary inquiries.
• Support equipment and operator knowledge transfer, as well as production transfer validation.
• Develop training processes, monitor operator development, and coordinate break schedules.
• Promote a positive work environment aligned with CooperSurgical’s mission, vision, and values.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized self‑starter with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to travel to the United States for training and development.
• Successful background check covering employment, criminal, education, and driving records.

Required skills

• Kronos payroll system.
• Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation software.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge (preferred).
