NPI Technician (Central Shift)

About the role
The NPI Technician supports the transfer of new products to manufacturing on the central shift. You will work on equipment qualification, line set‑up, and validation runs to ensure smooth production launch in a medical manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Execute qualification activities at the HMCR site, install equipment, and set up manufacturing lines.
- Support dry‑run and validation runs, monitoring KPIs such as scrap rate and pieces‑per‑hour.
- Resolve mechanical or electrical issues by collecting process data and providing feedback to operators.
- Lead improvement projects using Lean tools (5S, Visual Factory, Poka‑Yoke) and support ramp‑up activities.
- Train technical personnel and operators on new or enhanced processes.
- Participate in CAPA, complaint, and non‑conformance investigations and execute related mechanical actions.
- Contribute to engineering initiatives for new product introduction, emphasizing design for manufacturability.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Productivity, or related).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical manufacturing process validation.
- Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written business English.
- Experience with continuous improvement projects and Lean/Six Sigma concepts.
