Manager, General Accounting (R2R)

About the role

As a Manager I General Accounting you will lead the planning and delivery of Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements. You will work with diverse teams across multiple countries to drive continuous improvement and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage R2R teams, conduct regular meetings, coach, mentor and recognize high performers.
• Oversee journal entry posting, including intercompany entries, ensuring proper support.
• Lead period‑end close activities and supervise monthly, quarterly and annual reporting through Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Maintain accuracy of financial reports generated from ERP systems and update financial master data as needed.
• Ensure SOX internal controls are completed timely and accurately.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, driving performance improvements.
• Support migration of R2R processes across scoped countries.
• Build collaborative relationships with Global Process Owners and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a financial shared‑service center supporting multiple countries or business units.
• Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in culturally diverse teams.

Required skills

• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting.
• ERP financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance.
