M365 Infrastructure Consultant

About the role

West Monroe is seeking a M365 Infrastructure Consultant to join its Enterprise Technology team. You will work with enterprise clients to modernize their IT infrastructure, leveraging Microsoft 365, public cloud services, and automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement public‑cloud, Microsoft 365, and broader IT infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, assess current‑state environments (SharePoint Online, Active Directory, Teams, Exchange Online, etc.), and document requirements.
• Use Infrastructure‑as‑Code, scripting, and automation to migrate workloads and improve governance, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, engagement leads, and fellow consultants to present roadmaps and status updates to client executives.
• Participate in internal and external training to expand technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; consulting experience preferred.
• 1‑4+ years of IT experience in public‑cloud computing, Microsoft 365 administration, Windows/Linux systems, servers, virtualization, networking, and security.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and on‑premise‑to‑cloud projects.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Microsoft 365 administration (SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure AD).
• Public‑cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Scripting languages – PowerShell, Python.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Security and compliance features – Conditional Access, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), identity management.
• Windows and Linux system administration, virtualization, networking basics.
