Full Stack AI Engineer

About the role

Atreyus AI is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to design and deliver AI‑powered software that automates real operational workflows for construction, field services, and business operations. The role blends front‑end, back‑end, and AI integration work, requiring both technical depth and product thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Build modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js.
• Develop backend services, APIs, business logic, and database interactions with Python and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate large‑language‑model APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and create prompt‑engineered AI agents.
• Design AI‑enabled systems for document processing, information analysis, output generation, and decision support.
• Contribute to features like RFP analysis, blueprint processing, estimate generation, email automation, CRM updates, scheduling workflows, and operational intelligence dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong experience in full‑stack web development.
• Solid knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Git/GitHub.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools, LLM APIs, structured JSON responses, prompt engineering, AI agents, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) is a strong plus.
