Freelance Mechanical Engineer & Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and deliver computational engineering problems for AI training projects. This freelance position is project‑based, allowing you to work remotely on challenging engineering simulations and optimization tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational problems that mimic real engineering workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, and system optimization.
• Validate solutions using standard engineering libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified answer sets.
• Collaborate with the AI platform team to ensure problems align with research challenges.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience involving engineering calculations.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Experience with international or applied engineering projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL (any equivalent programming language)
• Mechanical engineering fundamentals and practical constraints
