Freelance AI Trainer – Electrical Engineer & Python Expert

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Electrical Engineer with strong Python expertise to help design and validate computational engineering problems for AI testing projects. The role is project‑based, allowing you to work on diverse engineering challenges that simulate real‑world workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational problems that reflect engineering design, optimization and analysis tasks.
• Create problem statements that require Python programming and numerical methods to solve.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive, involve iterative solutions and use standard engineering libraries.
• Validate solutions using Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, etc.) and verify correctness.
• Document problem descriptions clearly and provide verified answer sets.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional, research or teaching experience in engineering or data‑driven projects.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
• Experience with international or applied projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any equivalent programming language is acceptable).

What we offer

• Project‑based freelance contracts with flexible hours (estimated 10‑20 h per week during active phases).
• Compensation up to $17 USD per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
