FP&A Manager - Global Business Services

About the role

As the FP&A Manager for Global Business Services, you will lead the creation and expansion of a Finance Planning & Analysis Center of Excellence in Costa Rica. You will connect global business units with the offshore team, ensure alignment with Equifax’s financial standards, and drive data‑driven insights for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and scale the FP&A CoE in Costa Rica, overseeing recruitment, training and performance management of the offshore team.
• Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters, business‑unit finance teams and the offshore group to maintain data integrity and reporting consistency.
• Partner with global business units to provide analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure offshore deliverables comply with internal accounting controls and global reporting standards.
• Continuously improve financial models and dashboards to increase transparency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Business Units to standardize processes and feedback loops.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in people management.
• Deep knowledge of finance and accounting workflows in matrixed multinational corporations.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (B2 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (MBA preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Hyperion Essbase.
• Advanced proficiency with Oracle Planning.
• Complex Excel modeling, including Power Query.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
