Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will ensure the correct application of tax regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal corporate controls. The role leads external audits, drives monthly and annual accounting closures, and works closely with senior leadership to solve operational, tax and financial challenges across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Apply regional tax legislation and IFRS accurately in all accounting processes.
• Maintain and strengthen corporate internal controls.
• Oversee external audit engagements and ensure timely completion.
• Lead monthly and year‑end closing activities.
• Partner with senior leaders to address operational, tax and financial issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA license or certification in Financial Statement Consolidation preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting leadership or controlling positions (e.g., Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Controller).
• Professional bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong background in financial analysis within a similar industry sector.

Required skills
