Facilities Manager

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead all facility operations across its manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and office sites. The role ensures a safe, compliant and efficient environment that supports the company’s mission to improve health outcomes for women, babies and families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility operations across manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and office environments.
• Direct, develop and coach the Facilities and Maintenance team, handling performance management, staffing and succession planning.
• Maintain building systems, utilities and critical infrastructure (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, pumps, electrical systems) in compliance with federal, state, local and company requirements.
• Oversee facility operational budgets, cost control, forecasting and capital planning.
• Develop and run preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability.
• Manage contractor and vendor performance, service agreements and procurement activities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for facility‑related issues and customer service requests.
• Support property, project, procurement and operations teams on facility projects, upgrades and renovations.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Lead global collaboration to standardize facilities and EHS policies and best practices.
• Provide strategic direction for Health & Safety programs, hazard identification, risk assessments and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading facility operations in manufacturing, laboratory or similar environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, including performance and development of teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large operational budgets and capital projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental, health and safety compliance.
• Experience coordinating with global teams to harmonize facilities and EHS standards.
