Engineering Consultant II – Medical Device (TMV)

About the role

This position supports design development activities for medical device projects, focusing on documentation, CAD design, and test method development to ensure compliance and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Support stack analysis and design of plastic parts using SolidWorks.
• Create and manage 3D drawings, assemblies, and CAD models in SolidWorks Vault.
• Develop test methods, generate protocols, and prepare work instructions.
• Conduct sample preparation, appraiser training, and test method validation execution.
• Generate reports, support DV testing, and maintain a project tracker with weekly updates.
• Transfer knowledge to clients during and after project completion.
• Perform other tasks as agreed with project liaisons.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis using Minitab.
• Experience with SolidWorks, ProE or Inventor and 3‑D prototyping.
• Familiarity with electronic document management systems.
• Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
