Cost Accounting Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead the full plant P&L for its Costa Rica manufacturing facility. The role supports finance and operations leaders, drives financial objectives, and ensures accurate product costing and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support operations staff in budgeting, quarterly projections, and monthly actuals, focusing on material variances, labor, indirect expenses, inventory, and capital.
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly and annual financial results to facility, division, and corporate management.
• Own the fixed and variable operating budget end‑to‑end for the plant.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist teams with cost‑improvement initiatives, goal setting, and forecasting.
• Manage internal and external audits at the facility.
• Review, challenge, and monitor control procedures; support annual physical inventory.
• Drive operational improvements, enhance processes and controls, and document critical financial information.

Required profile

• Proven plant controlling experience.
• People‑management experience.
• Relevant professional qualifications in finance or accounting.
