About the role
Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo is seeking a Cook A to lead culinary production within a designated station. The role ensures the highest standards of quality, flavor, presentation and hygiene while contributing to the resort’s luxury guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute food preparation and cooking for the assigned station.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality, taste, plating and sanitation standards.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the chef de partie.
- Guide and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development.
- Participate actively in training, team motivation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Current valid food‑handling certification.
- Three to five years of proven experience in a high‑level professional kitchen.
- Advanced mastery of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
Required skills
- Advanced culinary techniques.
- Proficient cooking methods across various cuisines.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
