Contract Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of contractual agreements with vendors, customers, and partners. The role requires critical thinking, strong project management, and a meticulous eye for detail while collaborating with sales, service, and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, structure, and administer contractual documents that define business relationships.
• Partner with sales, service, and legal departments to draft and review contracts.
• Analyze contracts for compliance with company policy, government regulations, and other requirements.
• Manage the contract review workflow from request receipt through signature routing and final distribution.
• Maintain and improve contract management processes, systems, and policies.
• Act as a liaison for the legal department, providing guidance on standard edits, non‑standard terms, and policy questions.
• Draft and revise contract language to address emerging situations.
• Provide administrative support to in‑house legal staff, including research, correspondence, and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing contracts (drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a legal department or law firm is a strong plus.
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using a contract management system (e.g., Apttus).
• Familiarity with electronic signature platforms such as EchoSign or DocuSign.
