Business Analyst – Supply Chain & Merchandising

About the role

L.L.Bean is seeking a Business Analyst to turn supply chain and merchandising data into actionable insights. You will partner with cross‑functional teams, translate business questions into data solutions, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical needs and deliver data solutions.
• Analyze large data sets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses to answer ambiguous business questions.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and propose data‑based recommendations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and monitor solution effectiveness.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.

Required skills

• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
