Visual Design Expert

About the role

Bayer is hiring a Visual Design Expert in Heredia, Costa Rica, within its Marketing division. The role delivers complex creative assets with high quality and brand compliance, manages collaboration with global stakeholders and champions AI-supported creative solutions and video/animation best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex creative assets ensuring high quality and brand compliance.
• Manage end-to-end collaboration with global stakeholders, including requirements clarification and feedback management.
• Perform advanced quality reviews and adapt materials delivered by external agencies.
• Act as trainer and enabler, supporting onboarding and upskilling of team members.
• Champion AI-supported creative solutions and video/animation best practices.
• Own and continuously improve selected creative processes at GBS level, driving innovation and standardization.
• Support leadership with operational topics, reporting and KPI-related activities, and act as backup for team leadership when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Public Relations or a related career.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, advertising, public relations or related areas.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical industries (desirable).
• Proven experience in video, animation or motion design.
• Experience working in international or global team environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).

Required skills

• Advanced visual design expertise across digital and print channels.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with AI image, video and audio generation tools, Canva, CMS and content tools such as eWizard and Website Factory.
