Virtual Sales Account Executive - Splunk (Spanish Speaking, Remote)

About the role

Cisco's Splunk team is looking for a virtual Sales Account Executive to sell its security and observability platform for hybrid, multi-cloud environments. The position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Build and advance a high-quality pipeline: make 30+ targeted outbound calls daily to generate, qualify and progress opportunities, using account-based strategies and research of target accounts.
• Guide opportunities through the sales process, from first contact to close, managing several deals at once and keeping accurate pipeline and activity records in the CRM.
• Partner with field sales and cross-functional teams, and collaborate with channel and ecosystem partners to coordinate outreach and advance deals.
• Share protocols and market insights to help the team meet its sales goals.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken, with the ability to handle complex business terminology and cultural nuances.
• 3+ years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative, Account Executive or in a similar quota-carry sales role in the LATAM market.
• Preferred: track record of moving prospects through the sales process and contributing to revenue targets.
• Preferred: understanding of SaaS sales cycles and consultative sales approaches, including prospecting, qualification and solution positioning.
