Vendor Performance Analyst

About the role

The Vendor Performance Analyst will develop and execute procurement and performance strategies for the CR‑NCAM area, aligning with business plans and driving sustainable growth. The role works across multiple countries and supports supplier relationships, contract optimisation, and compliance with Maersk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term supplier relations and strengthen external partnerships.
• Optimise procurement spend and contracts across assigned purchase categories.
• Register and follow‑up project performance in the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).
• Ensure compliance with global and local procurement policies, legal, HSSE, ESG and other standards.
• Develop category strategies aligned with area business plans.
• Perform market, risk and Total Value Ownership analyses in collaboration with internal functions.
• Draft contracts in Spanish and English and manage the overall contracting process with legal experts.
• Onboard vendors and own service performance, implementing corrective actions and updating SLAs.
• Validate invoices, reimbursables and budget adherence, and run governance cadences (MOR/QBR).
• Manage change requests, assess claims and coordinate cross‑functional reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience.
• Desirable experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
