Travel Consultant II (Remote)

About the role

BCD Travel is hiring a Travel Consultant II to work remotely, representing the company to current and new clients and helping them travel smart. The position is full-time, with a stated schedule of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time, subject to change.

Key responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Apply a clear understanding of client travel policies to give consistent advice.
• Handle requests on regulations such as DOT, TSA, passports and visas.
• Share industry information such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties.
• Review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients and suggest improvements.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of the travel industries supported.

Required profile

• Experience as a travel agent.
• Solid working knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures and processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
