Technical Account Manager – Enterprise Support

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve enterprise customers in Costa Rica. You will act as the principal technical advisor, helping customers adopt and optimize AWS services while ensuring their environments remain healthy and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and resolve inquiries from enterprise customers regarding AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze operational performance and present periodic reviews to customers.
• Lead technical discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade‑offs, proactive scope and risk management.
• Collaborate with AWS global engineering and service teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain operational health of AWS environments while reducing cost and complexity.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for at least two of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, analytics, security, or application development.
• Strong Business English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or equivalent technical work experience.
