Systems/Software Engineer – HPC Diagnostics & Test

About the role

Join HPE's GTCS HPC & Compute team to design and deliver diagnostics and factory‑test solutions for next‑generation server platforms. This hybrid position blends software development with deep system knowledge to ensure new products are test‑ready and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Python‑based test and diagnostics tools.
• Debug issues across software, operating system, and hardware interactions.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and enable factory testing.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Manufacturing teams to solve integration challenges.
• Contribute to test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.

Required profile

• Strong Python and scripting abilities.
• Solid understanding of server/computer architecture.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
