Systems Administrator – Technology Services

About the role

Walmart Centroamérica is seeking a Systems Administrator for its Technology Services team. The role focuses on maintaining reliable infrastructure, supporting critical business systems, and driving continuous improvement across the region’s technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record, classify, prioritize and resolve technical incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot low to moderate complexity issues and escalate major incidents as needed.
• Support enterprise systems, virtual machines, cloud services, networking components, VPNs and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance, availability and operational health.
• Participate in configuration, release management and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical, business and project teams to deliver technology solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in technical support, systems administration or infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of incident and configuration management practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware environments.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization and enterprise applications.
