Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

Mozarc Medical, founded in 2023 with backing from DaVita and Medtronic, is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer. You will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams so that materials, components and manufacturing processes meet quality and regulatory requirements. The role covers supplier performance review, change control support, quality issue investigation, corrective actions, audits, risk assessments, manufacturing transfers and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the quality representative for supplier-related change management, ensuring changes to materials, components, processes, manufacturing locations and suppliers are assessed, documented, approved and implemented.
• Partner with suppliers to investigate quality issues, drive corrective actions and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance through quality metrics, risk assessments, audits and ongoing evaluations.
• Support supplier qualification and development so suppliers can meet quality, regulatory and business requirements.
• Take part in manufacturing quality systems, controls and processes linked to manufacturing expansion.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality on manufacturing transfers and new manufacturing capabilities.
• Help develop incoming inspection strategies, control plans, material controls and nonconformance management systems.
• Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate degree or local equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Good spoken and written English.
