Supplier Quality Engineer III (Fixed-term)

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer III on a fixed‑term contract until August 2027. The role supports supplier compliance, manages corrective actions, and ensures that materials and services meet regulatory and company specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Open, track, and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and approve their closure in the GTW system.
• Monitor blocked, on‑hold, and quarantine materials and determine disposition in line with business goals.
• Review and approve non‑conforming material dispositions and support supplier metric meetings.
• Lead change notifications from suppliers, coordinate interdisciplinary impact evaluations, and oversee first‑article and change plan execution.
• Participate in deviation, NC, CAPA, DCC, CC, AIA, CFT, TR, FSFA, and internal audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in regulated industries with supplier quality management.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level) and strong written and oral communication.

Required skills

• Root‑cause analysis tools such as DMAIC and A3.
• CAPA system knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Office application skills.
• Understanding of GMP, QSR, FDA, ISO quality regulations.
