Supervisor de Transporte

About the role

The Transport Supervisor will lead and optimise transport operations in the assigned region, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while complying with all regulations. This role manages driver teams, fleet assets, and works closely with commercial, traffic, maintenance and security departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate vehicles and drivers based on demand, routes, schedules and commercial priorities.
• Monitor operational processes on routes and at loading/unloading points, guaranteeing proper documentation and traceability.
• Oversee preventive and corrective fleet maintenance, coordinate workshops and minimise downtime.
• Handle route incidents, communicate promptly with customers and internal teams, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with transport, road‑safety regulations and internal security policies.
• Train, integrate and develop drivers and operational staff, promoting best practices and reducing turnover.
• Optimise routes and operational processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with commercial, traffic, purchasing, finance and security areas to align processes.
• Maintain operational manuals, compliance records and audit reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transport, Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising transport operations or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of route planning, fleet maintenance, cost control and transport safety regulations.
• Ability to manage performance indicators and produce operational reports.
• Willingness to travel and address incidents outside regular hours when needed.
