Supervisor de Rutas (Guapiles)

About the role

The Route Supervisor will oversee complex inventory and warehouse activities for an assigned location, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with internal controls. This position interacts with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain efficient movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage material flow for the assigned site, providing written and electronic communication for documentation, warehousing, and shipping.
• Coordinate invoice settlement and related warehouse documents with the accounting department according to schedule.
• Conduct in‑depth investigations, participate in inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other departments and locations to resolve document circulation issues.
• Work with the transportation department to arrange shipments and clarify any irregularities.
• Validate route documents and stock movements, correcting inaccuracies immediately.
• Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for direct reports, while also performing the same tasks as team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum one year of direct experience as a route or logistics supervisor.
• At least one year of experience supervising personnel.
• Valid B1 driver’s license.
• Understanding of logistics document processes and flows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience using SAP for logistics operations.
