Supervisor de Contabilidad – Shared Services

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the shared services accounting team, ensuring monthly closes are executed accurately and on schedule. This role bridges operational towers and the accounting leadership, driving automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shared services accounting team through the monthly close, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution across all operational towers.
• Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines, anticipate deviations, and implement corrective actions to avoid rework.
• Coordinate with controllers and business managers to align corporate calendars and prioritize critical deliverables.
• Oversee the integrity of accounting records under IFRS, reviewing manual entries, reconciliations, and disclosures before close.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements in SAP FI/CO, macros, or other automation tools to reduce processing time.
• Develop team members through structured feedback, clear goal setting, and support for complex case resolution.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external audits, providing required evidence and responding to technical queries.
• Monitor KPIs such as error rate, deadline compliance, and deliverable quality, reporting results to finance leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of general accounting experience in a Shared Services Center (CSC).
• At least 4 years of experience leading accounting teams of 8+ members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, or Business Administration with a finance focus; active CPA or CPI certification.
• Operational expertise in SAP FI/CO.
• Strong applied knowledge of IFRS for close and disclosures.
• Experience in process migration projects within the Southern Cone.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
