Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Lead – Marketing

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to join our client‑dedicated procurement service delivery team. The role focuses on strategic sourcing and category management for Marketing spend, driving cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing medium‑ to long‑term strategies for various Marketing sub‑categories.
• Execute sourcing strategies using the client’s strategic sourcing process, including cost modeling, RFI/RFP design, bid evaluation, and negotiation planning.
• Lead commercial negotiations, draft contracts, and make award recommendations.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support category managers with market intelligence, benchmarking, and pipeline development.
• Act as escalation point for source‑to‑contract issues and coordinate resolution across regions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, preferably within Marketing.
• Strong analytical abilities to build cost models and assess supplier proposals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders across cultures.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering year‑over‑year savings while meeting quality standards.
