Staff Accountant

About the role

The Staff Accountant will support month‑end close activities, ensuring accurate sub‑ledger and general ledger reconciliations, balance‑sheet analysis, and timely reporting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide insights on financial variances and help improve accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and support month‑end closing, including sub‑ledger closures and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare flux analysis for P&L and balance‑sheet accounts and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve identified issues.
• Ensure GRC compliance and align internal control improvements with stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in new business/system launches, including UAT of accounting entries and financial reporting.

Required profile

• 2+ years of transactional accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end closing, sub‑ledger management, and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level) and ability to work full‑time onsite.
