Sourcing Specialist – Strategic Software Procurement

About the role

You will partner across the TSI organization and business units to define sourcing requirements and build negotiation strategies for complex software vendors. The role involves managing commercial and legal terms, driving cost‑out, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies for strategic software vendors.
• Negotiate license, support, maintenance, and services contracts, including price protection and SLA terms.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and identify contractual risks.
• Partner with security, finance, engineering, legal, tax, and procurement teams to align sourcing processes.
• Conduct business performance reviews, provide escalation support, and resolve vendor or contract issues.
• Document scalable sourcing processes and best‑practice deal frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience in indirect categories such as professional services, support, or maintenance spend.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and make high‑judgement decisions.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
