Solution Architect (.NET/C#) – Cloud Enablement (Remote – Colombia/Costa Rica)

About the role

The Solution Architect will shape and evolve cloud‑enabled application architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals. This hands‑on position blends technical road‑mapping, solution design, research, development, and close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical roadmaps and architecture strategies for cloud migration and application modernization.
• Design secure, highly available systems that meet business objectives.
• Balance long‑term architecture direction with hands‑on prototyping, validation, and delivery support.
• Research architecture options, evaluate trade‑offs, and present clear recommendations.
• Create architecture diagrams, decision records, and technical plans.
• Translate architecture into executable work by defining epics, features, stories, and dependencies.
• Design data and integration architectures, write advanced SQL, and optimize performance.
• Define APIs, integration contracts, versioning, and error‑handling strategies.
• Support distributed, event‑driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Design and support solutions in Microsoft Azure, guiding migration from on‑premises environments.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in .NET, C# and Microsoft Azure.
• Practical architecture thinking with experience in modern DevOps and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfort moving between strategic design and hands‑on delivery.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous challenges into well‑supported recommendations.
