Software Sourcing Manager

About the role

Workday is seeking a highly motivated Software Sourcing Manager to lead high‑volume, low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects within the Source‑to‑Pay process, focusing on software and technology categories.

Key responsibilities

• Execute software and technology sourcing projects in line with category strategies and established processes.
• Manage a high volume of sourcing requests, primarily low‑to‑medium dollar value, using standardized procedures.
• Support creation, review, and negotiation of contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Negotiate pricing, service level agreements, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks.
• Run low‑complexity RFQs and quick bids to select best‑value suppliers.
• Prioritize use of preferred and existing suppliers whenever possible.
• Meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs for project completion and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate procurement system data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software procurement or sourcing, preferably high‑volume.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
