About the role

Cisco's Connected and Engineering Transformation Office (CETO) is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize integration solutions that power seamless customer and partner experiences across Salesforce and backend systems.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft tools (API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, Flex Gateway).
Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to develop APIs, micro‑services, and data transformation pipelines (DataWeave, REST/SOAP).
Integrate third‑party systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure secure authentication (OAuth, JWT).
Maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitor solution performance.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
3+ years of software design and development experience for web or cloud‑based enterprise applications.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and English communication skills.

Required skills

MuleSoft (API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager, DataWeave).
Salesforce platform knowledge or certifications.
Java, Python, Node.js, C# or similar backend languages.
Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and TypeScript.
REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
