Software Engineer III

About the role

As a Software Engineer III at Tebra, you will own a key software subsystem from design through production support, delivering scalable micro‑service solutions for an all‑in‑one EHR platform serving independent healthcare practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support a full‑stack software subsystem throughout its lifecycle.
• Design and implement innovative solutions using modern Java, Spring, and front‑end frameworks.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in at least two technical areas and serve as a sounding board for technical discussions.
• Improve quality, operational processes, and triage complex bugs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to make data‑driven technical decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building scalable micro‑service web applications with Java and the Spring framework.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern front‑end libraries such as React or Angular.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to estimate project scope, and lead technical discussions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; healthcare domain experience is a plus.
