Software Engineer I (AI & Full-Stack)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer I to design, build, and scale AI‑powered full‑stack applications that drive customer experiences across Walmart’s global ecosystem. You will collaborate with product, UX, and business teams to turn ideas into high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code for full‑stack and backend services.
• Build AI‑enabled features, predictive models, and agentic workflows.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and versioning for machine‑learning models.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver root‑cause fixes.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across cloud‑based systems.

Required profile

• Experience in software engineering, preferably full‑stack or backend.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for AI/ML technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD, distributed systems, and containerization.
