Software Engineer – GitHub Platforms

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Software Engineer to own and evolve its GitHub Enterprise ecosystem across multiple global instances. You will enable teams to deliver high‑quality software faster by designing, automating, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Co‑Pilot, GitHub Actions, and related services in a multi‑instance environment.
• Design, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Tekton.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows in JavaScript, Python, or Java/SpringBoot.
• Integrate and extend GitHub functionality via REST and GitHub APIs.
• Support underlying Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker platforms, including database services such as PostgreSQL or Spanner.
• Implement authentication solutions with OAuth2, OpenID, and Azure Active Directory.
• Collaborate with cloud teams on GCP, OpenShift, and related CI/CD technologies.
• Explore AI/ML bot development and security tooling to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on experience managing GitHub Enterprise platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and deliver reliable solutions.
