Software Engineer – Food Solutions

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Food division, designing and developing software that supports the end‑to‑end supply chain. The role works closely with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver high‑quality features that meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for moderately complex applications.
• Automate software deployment using internal platforms and tools to ensure reliable releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and debug issues to uphold performance and quality.
• Suggest and implement improvements to development and deployment processes.
• Document software applications, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
• Provide technical support for deployed applications, minimizing downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
