Senior Visual Designer

About the role

SureSkills is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join its remote team and support a high‑profile Google Cloud learning programme. The role involves creating engaging visual content for large‑scale digital learning experiences used by learners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design visually compelling digital learning assets, including graphics, illustrations, icons, diagrams and infographics.
• Develop layout templates and high‑fidelity designs that adhere to Google’s branding and visual guidelines.
• Collaborate with Learning Architects, Instructional Designers, Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to translate complex technical concepts into clear visual narratives.
• Maintain consistency across multiple programmes through reusable design systems and templates.
• Ensure all visual content meets accessibility and usability best practices.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback, manage revisions efficiently, and contribute ideas to improve learner engagement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Visual, Digital or Graphic Designer in a corporate or learning environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, visual communication and layout skills.
• Experience working within established brand guidelines and design systems.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to work remotely with global teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Ability to create custom illustrations, icons and infographics.
• Understanding of typography, colour theory, composition and visual hierarchy.
